Project-Understanding Leadership               Models

Changes in societies, markets, customers, competition, and technology around the
globe are forcing organizations to clarify their values, develop new strategies, and learn new ways of operating Companies. Organizations face adaptive challenges and mobilizing an organization to adapt its behaviors in order to thrive in new business environments is critical.

Without such change, any company today would falter. Indeed getting people to do adaptive work is the mark of leadership in a competitive world. Leadership is the one central and most important element of successful management teams—be it in a start-up company, a growth phase of an established organization, or as key for a successful turnaround.

Leadership Models inspired by the Moon.

BRIEF

The moon is the main source of light when the sun sets. The rhythm of the moon’s phases has guided humanity for millennia — for instance, calendar months are roughly equal to the time it takes to go from one full moon to the next.

Taking the moon as my inspiration for building a Leadership model, this is the journey of studying the moon's various functions and forms and coming with the 3C Leadership Model- Care, Comfort and Concord.

Nature has a lot to offer to everyone. It has been a source of inspiration for artists, sculptors, designers and now business thinkers.

In this project, the idea was to look at any element/ process or phenomenon in nature and make a Leadership model or leadership framework inspired by it.

Introduction

BRIEF

Introduction

To study an existing organisation, its leadership style, its overall performance and find the gap. To understand how organizational systems, design, structure, and processes affect perceptions and behavior in organizations.

By studying these aspects, make a new Leadership Model which would best suit the circumstances to rectify them.

The best way to learn about Design inspired leadership is through case studies. This report is a case study of House Of Anita Dongre and the leadership style that I understood it works in from the time I worked there.

On this basis, I formulated and designed another Leadership Model which would rectify the gaps existing in the system:

Participatory Leadership Model- the ComConCel Model.
